While visiting Alaska by giant cruise ship may not have been my ideal method of exploration, the beauty and nature of it all completely over-shadowed the enormous boat. The trip was ten days long, leaving out of and returning to SF bay. We stopped in Juneau, Haines, Ketchikan, and Victoria and were able to get off the boat and explore for a few hours. Sea-kayaking in Haines was definitely my favorite part (see the final picture) and having that tiny taste of Alaska just made me realize how much more there is to explore and see there.
Looking forward to heading back when I have more time and felxibility to adventure!
